Outer Ring
Release Time: 2019-02-16 00:09:29

Where is the position of the outer ring?

The outer ring is the last circle outside the iris and usually comes in four colors: black, gray, yellow-green and black-green. The color of the outer ring is mainly composed of the color of the sand and the layer of melanin. From the color of the outer ring, we can judge the thickness of the bottom sand and also determine the level of melanin particles in the melanin layer. It also reflects the protective function of the melanin layer on light damage.

ⅰ.What is the color of the outer ring in the evaluation system?

In the evaluation system, we divided the color of the outer ring into two colors, one is black and the other is non-black (including: gray, yellow-green and black-green).

ⅱ.What is the shape of the outer ring in the evaluation system?

In the evaluation system we offer two eye shape selections. One is a full circle shape and the other is an incomplete circle shape.

ⅲ. How should I judge the thickness and thinness of the outer ring?

We call it thick when the width of the outer ring is large or equal to 1/20 of the outer radius of the outer ring. When the width of the outer ring is less than 1/20 of the outer radius of the outer ring, we call it thin.
